THIS IS A SUMMER ACTIVITY - IT IS NOW CLOSED
Discover Old Montreal on the Amphi-Bus, a vehicle that travels both land and on water. This tour will provide you with information that you might not know about, and it will be a unique experience at the same time.
This guided tour will show you multiple places around Old Montreal. These places include the Habitat 67, the Bonsecours Market, the Notre-Dame Basilica, Mount Royal from afar and much more. You will hear the history behind why we have a cross located on top of a mountain, and how Bonsecours Market was once a residential area for those who worked at the Parliament of Canada.
Amphi-Bus tours in Montreal have 2 unique vehicles. One is named after the owner's 3 daughters, Kamada, which fits 30 passengers, and the other AlĂ´bus, which seat 40 passengers. Both vehicles have been built by the Montreal Amphi-Bus tours owner, Jacques Tourigny.
The Amphi-Bus departs from at the intersection of De La Commune Street and St-Laurent Boulevard. To purchase tickets, there's a blue tent located at the entrance of the Old Port where the Science Centre is.
